I've checked-in with Social mediaJoin Changescape Web and the St. Charles Chamber of Commenrce for our monthly Social Media Seminar for April - focusing totally on the new and exciting world of Location Based Social Media sites.

Imagine having your customers share their experiences with their friends on Facebook! Whenever they come to your place of business, they can check-in to tell their friends where they are, review products or services, or get a deal.

Why is this important? Customers are creating content and promoting your business for you. Additionally, many consumers are turning to their social networks for recommendations.

Location Based Social Media, with sites like FourSquare, Yelp and Facebook Places have grown dramatically in last 12-18 months. This seminar will discuss what Location Based Social Media sites to consider and how to make them work for your business.

The Location Based Social Media Lunch & Learn will take place at the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, April 19th from 11 am to 1 pm, with lunch provided. Available only to members, those who register by 5 pm on April 15th will receive the registration price of $20. Late registrations will be charged $30.
