Changescape will participate in "Why Social Media is important 
for your business" session hosted by the St. Charles Missouri Chamber of Commerce.
This session will focus on the popular social media sites such as Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Blogging, and Location Based Services like FourSquare, as well as how social media fits into developing an important strategy for businesses seeking to improve their web presence.
Ken Tucker, Founder of Changescape and Co-Chair for the St. Charles County Chambers of Commerce Technology Committee, will facilitate the session along with members from CDK Web.

Ken Tucker, Founder of Changescape Web, is teaching the "Social Media Marketing for the Web" class at the St. Charles Community College starting Jan 20, 2011.
The class is being offered as a 3 hour college credit class through the Computer Science Department as part of the Multimedia / Web Design Program.
Here are the details of the class:
CPM 230 Social Media Marketing for the Web ... 3 credits
Advertising method that uses social network services like e-mail, blogs, Facebook and Twitter to increase web presence. Learn to develop and use social media to enhance search engine optimization (how search engines find your website) and engage visitors.
The class will cover social media strategy, search engine optimization, inbound marketing, Blogging, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, Location Based Services like Yelp and Foursquare, on social media management and monitoring tools.
The class is being held for 16 weeks from 7pm-9:50pm Thursday nights starting Jan 20, 2011.
